Having an in-house Bakery and a team of skilled Bakers enables us to provide freshly baked goods each morning for our Delicatessen Counter in Doncaster.
We are dedicated to producing fabulously tasting old favourites such as Scotch Eggs and Sausage Rolls, whilst turning our hand to innovating flavours for our home made Meatballs and Cheesecakes.
Our Bakers use flour milled in Yorkshire by farming families, cream and milk from organic farms in Rotherham and Holmfirth and meat from our home bred pigs skilfully butchered by the Master Butchers just next door.
We also have a fine selection of Yorkshire Cheeses in our bakery shop including Wensleydale, Yorkshire Fettle & Black Bomber. Along with everything you may need to complete the perfect Ploughman’s board or Mediterranean feast – sundried tomatoes, olives, stuffed peppers, chutneys, pickles & cooked meats.
We have a Patisserie Chef creating sweet treats each morning. Again using local, fresh ingredients to ensure our Malteser Slice, Bakewell Tart, Egg Custards, Scones and Cream Cakes are of the finest quality.
We do become extremely busy in our Bakery and as everything is baked fresh each morning and not frozen, we can occasionally sell out come the afternoon.
